Legacy MDNS Service
Incident Report for OpenSRS
Resolved
We experienced some intermittent issues with our legacy MDNS service from approximately 2:30 am ET to 12 pm ET, which would have impacted any domains pointed to the ns1.mdnsservice.com / ns2.mdnsservice.com nameservers, still using that DNS system.

It's important to clarify that this only impacted the legacy MDNS system, which has actually been deprecated for almost 5-years now, and NOT our SystemDNS service. We'd like to also take this opportunity to remind any resellers still using the legacy MDNS system that we strongly recommend they move any domain they have using it to SystemDNS, as again the MDNS system has been deprecated.
